Peer Advocacy Connection (PAC)

Helps People First and other advocacy groups grow
and supports advocacy by persons with
developmental disabilities.

Funded by Alta California Regional Center, Peer Advocacy Connection (previously Self-Advocacy Coordination Project) advances People First and peer advocacy in the ten-county area served by Alta and Area Board 3.  Its many activities are guided by an Advisory Committee made up of advocates facilitators and advisors from the region.

Peer Advocacy Connection provides resources, trainings and leadership seminars to People First members, Alta's Consumer Advisory Committee and others who have developmental disabilities. Resources and trainings are also offered to the community in general to promote disability awareness and inclusion of all people.
